Let’s be real, there is NO worse feeling than the alarm
going off on Monday morning and you suddenly realize the nightmare was real - you’re
not a Jenner sister and now you have to roll your ass out of bed (or if your as
much of a hot mess as me, its probably a daily #thestruggleisreal
situation). But no fear, I have come to
the rescue with some of my favorite positive affirmations that will help you
feel empowered and ready to take on Monday.
When using them was first suggested to me by the coolest spirit-junkie life coach ever, I didn't comprehend the power these simple statements could have. What I soon realized is that it often becomes easier to think the same negative and degrading
thoughts instead of thinking ones that help our inner Beyoncé
shine. The good news is that everyday is a possibility to rewrite the script to
our lives and to retrain our minds to see the best in every situation and ourselves.
What I personally love about using positive
affirmations is that they allow you to take a deep breath and refocus yourself into
reality and inspire your soul. Affirmations may seem extremely silly at first,
but with time you will find that they'll help you feel grateful, fierce, happy
and confident.
The idea behind being a Rebel Redefined gal is not only
being true to yourself, but also being the best possible version of
yourself. So girl listen, I know using
affirmations may not be as uplifting as the idea of Chuck Bass bringing you a
Venti Starbucks coffee to your bedside, but give them a shot. Create your own, Instagram them, tweet
them, post them on your mirror and share them with your favorite soul sista's!
